EXPERIENCE
MUT TEMPLE SITE IMPROVEMENT AND JOB CREATION PROJECT
Capacity: Management
DESCRIPTION
Mut Temple, which is part of the Karnak Complex, was closed to the public and not suited for tourist visitation. To open the temple and allow tourist visitation entailed draining and cleaning the weed infested Mut Sacred Lake and keep the weeds from growing back by placing a liner under a soil layer so as to eliminate or decrease uncontrollable weed growth. New pathways were created including a new sandstone axis walkway. A mastaba and signage completed the improvement and the temple was open to the public.
