DESCRIPTION

TT49 was the burial place of the ancient Egyptian official Neferhotep, who was a Chief Scribe of Amun. Neferhotep lived during the reign of the pharaohs Tutankhamen, Ay, and Horemheb at the end of the Eighteenth Dynasty. 

Adam Shearman initiated the site development operations that included preparing the tomb for visitors by installing a wooden floor and handrails and provided appropriate lighting to show the ancient paintings that were cleaned using modern laser devices.
